Project and Portfolio Manager fluent in French and English (22133) Geneva and Zurich

Aufgabe

On behalf of a client based in Geneva and Zurich, we are seeking a Project- and Portfolio Manager with native-level proficiency in French and very good knowledge of English.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate technical projects from the design phase through to delivery, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements are met.

  • Working closely with the development or infrastructure teams to ensure the successful execution of technical projects.

  • Translate business needs into clear and detailed technical specifications, in collaboration with the development or infrastructure teams.

  • Ensure communication between technical teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to guarantee alignment and understanding of objectives.

  • Monitor and manage risks, identify potential obstacles, and propose solutions to overcome them.

  • Manage project resources, including assignments, workload, and task organization to optimize productivity.

  • Oversee testing and validation phases to ensure that technical deliverables meet defined requirements.

  • Establish and monitor performance indicators to measure project progress and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Ensure complete and up-to-date project documentation, including technical specifications, project plans, and progress reports.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.

 

This is a full-time position (100%), with approximately 40% remote work flexibility.

Anforderungen

  • You have a degree in project management.
  • You have proven experience (minimum 10 years) as an IT Project Manager, with expertise in software development or IT infrastructure management.
  • You have strong project management skills, with a mastery of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • You have a good understanding of technical architectures, software development cycles, or IT infrastructures.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • You have proven skills in risk management and technical problem solving.
  • You have a good knowledge of project management tools (Jira, MS Project) and collaboration platforms.
  • You have a customer-oriented approach and the ability to understand and anticipate business needs.
  • You are fluent in French and have an excellent level of English. Knowledge of German is an asset.
